The Annual meeting will be held at the Club on Sat, Sept 1 at 6:00 pm. It is important that members be present to participate in the governance of the Club. Agenda items include:
- Voting for new Board members. The Board members represent you, the Club member, and it is important to elect individuals who will represent your interests and work to improve the Club Community. Generally, three Board members are elected each year to fill a 9 person Board. Sometimes additional Board members are selected by the Board during the course of the year to fulfill vacancies left by duly elected Board members, as per the bylaws.
- Vote on proposed bylaw changes (see below). The Board has submitted two bylaw changes to be voted on at the annual meeting. These proposed changes were included in the August newsletter and addendum, and can be seen in full on this website. The bylaws are the governance document of the Club, and from time to time it is necessary to update bylaws to address issues that come up over time.
- Hear reports from various committees. Each committee will present an annual report. These reports provide information about the Club and grounds improvements, dock repair, and fiscal standing.
