About Casper Boat Club

​The Casper Boat Club is a private club for sailing and power boating enthusiasts located on Alcova Reservoir, approximately 30 miles southwest of Casper, Wyoming, (see map). The club, during season, operates a full service restaurant and bar. Restroom and hot shower facilities are available. The Casper Boat Club is for members only and is not open to the public.

For our 300 plus members, the club provides leased slip space for watercraft of varying sizes, a courtesy dock, and gas dock with a Gasboy dispenser. The club grounds are well maintained and offer a limited number of RV camping spaces, as well as an outdoor patio, firepit, lawn, and swim beach with shelter. Two launch ramps are provided and maintained for our members' convenience.

​The club offers a variety of activities each year such as the annual icebreaker gathering, poker run, and beach party. Special activities are planned for national holidays including Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day weekends. Other events and activities are held at the club throughout the season.

Casper Boat Club lies on the edge of Alcova Reservoir, approximately 30 miles southwest of Casper. 

​The club is governed by a board of nine elected directors who select their flag officers from their ranks. Much of the board's work involves budget development and management to maintain and improve the club. A history of club improvements since 1958 is available here.

​The Casper Boat Club reciprocates with many other yacht and boat clubs across the nation whose members are allowed use of the Casper Boat Club's dining facilities.
