Jeremy Bosco, Commodore
Term expires Dec 2024 Jeremy has spent the majority of his life in Casper and grew up at Alcova. Working in his family’s restaurant, Bosco’s, he’s developed many lifelong friendships. He also owns The Bosco Insurance Agency and enjoys donating/volunteering at various events throughout the year. His love for the lake has extended to his wife Brenda and their two amazing children, Braden and Jasely. Spending summers at the lake with his family is a tradition he hopes to pass on to his children. As a member of the Casper Boat Club for over twenty years, he sees the value and importance of the facility, and he has a passion to maintain the club’s future and stability in the community. |
Patrick Burgen, Vice Commodore
Term expires Dec, 2022 Patrick “Pat” Burgen is currently the District Manager, G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc., a global security company, for the last 9 years. He is the manager of WY, MT, W-SD, ID, overseeing 160 employees at 29 remote sites, with the office based in Casper. Previously, Pat worked as a Security Investigator, internal investigations for Safeway Stores, for 7 years. In June 2000, Pat retired from the Casper Police Department as a Lieutenant after 21 years, holding numerous positions. He has enjoyed being a part of the YMCA Board, WMC Foundation Board, Safe Kids Foundation Board, DARE board, and president of the Casper and State Police Protective Association. Pat graduated from NCHS, class of 1975; a hometown boy enjoying Alcova Lake as a child and growing up at the lake on weekends. Pat and his wife Deanne, now have a lake house at Alcova, are proud members of the CBC, enjoying all the great company, sunrises, sunsets, fishing and boating with the family: Leighton, Casson, Caleigh, our new addition Aeighdon, and many others. |
Lee Burgess, Treasurer
Term expires Dec, 2023 Lee Burgess and his wife Terry were members of the Casper Boat Club during the 1980’s. They spent a number of years building a business, raising their two sones, and rejoined the club in 2005. Lee started boating back in 1979 when he purchased his first boat from his brother Lynn. He has had a passion for boating ever since. Lee and Terry can often be found in back-bay on their Sea Ray, Señora del Lago (Lady of the Lake). He is a graduate of Natrona County High School and Drake University in Des Moines, IA. He and his wife started Western Divers LTD in 1982. It is central Wyoming’s oldest and only full time scuba shop. They spend about equal time boating on the lake and underwater in scuba gear! Lee feels it is an honor to serve on the CBC Board. He has served a number of times on past CBC Boards, been a flag-officer, and past Commodore. |

Darin Rodgers, Board Member
Term Expires Dec 2024 Darin was born and raised in Casper and was always around the lake. His family had a trailer at the lake starting in 1974 and he enjoyed many summers skiing and boating. Darin and his wife Crystal have three grown children and three grandchildren who also love spending time at the lake. Darin and Crystal own four businesses; Well Control Products, Fun Stuff Too, Masek Sports, and ForeverLawn Central Wyoming, which keeps them very busy and thankful for the time spent at the lake. Darin has been helping with the fireworks for the past four years and really enjoys it. He looks forward to being on the board and helping out for another successful year at the Casper Boat Club. |
Deo Carmichael, Board Member
Term Expires Dec, 2024 Deo and his wife, Kelli, have had fun at the lake and the boat club for several years. A 50-year Casper resident, Deo retired from KTWO-TV as Chief Engineer after keeping transmitters over the state on the air and studio and master control equipment running. Deo now does handyman work keeping him busy. Deo had helped with the fireworks show for a few years before deciding he'd join the board. Deo joined to help with more projects at the boat club. He hopes to help make the boat club the best it can be for all its members. |
Rick Young, Board Member
Term Expires Dec, 2023 Rick and his wife Cassie are the owners of 42 Degrees North, a specialty outdoor business in downtown Casper, that was started from the ground up seven years ago. 42 Degrees North has sponsored and supported the Canyon to Curve run for many years as well as numerous local run/marathon and ski events. Rick is currently manufacturing his own line-up of high quality paddle boards, paddles, and ski bags. He is continually expanding his current local Wyoming brand 42 Degrees North into additional items. Previously, Rick worked as a firefighter-Captain for the Natrona County Fire Protection District where he served as both a volunteer and a career firefighter for 27 years and just retired last November to spend more time with his family and concentrate on his business. Rick is a Natrona County High School and Casper Collage graduate. He grew up in Casper enjoying Alcova Lake since he was a child boating, jet-skiing, camping, fishing, wakeboarding and paddle boarding. He spends his time at the lake with his family consisting of four children, three of which are at the University of Wyoming (Colter, Briana, and Kiana). GO COWBOYS! His youngest is set to attend NC High School this next fall (Kendrick). Rick currently serves on dock assignments and camping spot committee. Rick can see the importance of continuing to improve the CBC making it a safe fun and relaxing environment. He is honored to be part of such a wonderful organization and looks forward to his first season a board member. |
