CBC Wants YOU!
July 4th Volunteers Needed!
For the second year, CBC members will be setting up and managing the fireworks Display. Rob Vondra has volunteered to take the lead. He along with several other members have attended training and are certified and ready to go.
WE ALSO NEED people to volunteer to move, set up, and take down the fireworks equipment on the island (July 3). This task involves loading the fireworks canisters onto the barge, unloading them at the island, and moving them around to their appropriate locations. When the fireworks are completed, we will need volunteers to remove the canisters and return them back to the dock for storage (July 5).
This job is for the people who can lift and manhandle the fireworks tubes, some of which are somewhat heavy. We think we will need approximately 4 - 6 people for each day. You may volunteer for one or both days. This volunteer effort will take approximately 2-4 hours on each day.
