The Casper Boat Club operates from April through September each year and features a full service clubhouse with dining room and bar, restroom and shower facilities, a large deck and patio area, 12 camping spaces, slips for both sail and power boats, gas and courtesy docks and loading ramps. Here are some scenes of our beautiful lake. The description of Alcova Lake from the Bureau of Reclamation web site says:

"Alcova Lake, its Dam and Powerplant, features of the Kendrick Project, are on the North Platte River about 30 miles from Casper, Wyoming. The Alcova Reservoir covers 2,470 surface acres. Facilities include 6 campgrounds, 8 boat ramps, interpretive trail and marina concession. Available fish species include brown trout, cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, and walleye. Rainbow and brown trout are stocked annually. Dinosaur interpretive trail is located near Cottonwood Creek Beach. A barrier-free fishing pier, restroom and shelter are located at Black Beach. Pathfinder Bird Refuge, Pathfinder Reservoir, and Seminoe Reservoir are nearby."

The Casper Boat Club once again helped host the Officers and crew of the USS WYOMING (SSBN 742) submarine while they were in Casper, Wyoming on July 31, 2007. These are the pictures of that event.

The 2006 Commodore Dinner and Party was held April 1, 2006 at the Casper Petroleum Club. The event included dinner, a silent auction, 50/50 raffle with a prize of $310, a raffle for a half of beef, dancing and good times for all. Nearly $2000 was raised for various club projects. The Casper Boat Club helped host the Commanding Officer and the Chief of the Boat of the USS WYOMING (SSBN 742) submarine while they were in Casper, Wyoming on July 25th and 26th. These are the pictures of that event.

The third annual Casino night was held September 4, 2004. The weather was not the greatest, but there was plenty of fun inside the club. Come on in and take a look. Thanks to club member Brenda Bird for coordinating the event again this year.
